It was sunny with blue skies today and I was lucky to be off from work. I was planning to go to the Bronx Botanical garden today with Mark since the entrance fee is free on Wednesdays. However things didn’t go as planned and we ended up waking up at 2pm. Mark was still recovering from a very bad hangover so I went to the Botanical garden by myself. It turned out to be a really good solo excursion.
The leaves finally have turned to gold and red. There weren’t many people around which left me with so much privacy with my photo taking. I enjoyed the quiet and peace I felt in the Botanical garden. I regret not visiting this place more often in the past. It’s a taste of paradise in the concrete jungle of the Bronx.
Warning: Self Portrait Overload. I went trigger happy in my excitement to take photos. There’s just something so exhilarating when your on your own and have to rely on yourself.
