Tucker and Lita

Mark went to San Francisco for CTIA. Since I also had a few days off, I decided to meet up with him after the event. I booked my hotel and plane tickets last minute which I really don’t recommend doing. I decided to bid for my tickets in priceline the day before my departure since tickets were selling for $600 by that time. I compared the trend and saw that the tickets were half the price if I bought it a week before my flight.

I bid for $250 since Mark was able to get his tickets at that price unfortunately I was rejected and they gave me a 3 choices. Choice #1 lets me buy the tickets at $250, but I would have to have 4 transfers. Choice #2 offers a price of $274, but I would depart from San Jose on the way back home. Choice #3) offers a price of $374 which departs from NY at 2pm with one layover and a non-stop flight back home. I decided on choice #3 and save myself the hassle of Choices #1 and #2. The good news is that Mark and I ended up on the same flight home.

Boots: Jeffrey Campbell Lita

BTW: Anyone else notice and not liking all these extra charges on domestic flights. I had to pay $25 to check in 1 bag. They also charge for headphones, movies, games and food on board.

They been doing that for a while with domestic flights and Ive never been a fan. That's why I also try to stick with Continental since they are my frequent flier airline. Plus, they still feed me for free and provide free headphones on long flights.

It's a first for me. I'm going to have to try Continental next time. Does continental charge for the first checked bag too?
