Since I started working as a nurse, I pretty much gave up on nail polishes. As a nurse, my hands just take too much abuse that I have just about given up on nail polishes. I hated how my nail polish would chip right away and most of all, I hated waiting for it to dry. A year ago I heard about Seche Vite, but I could only order it online and I really didn’t want to bother with it. Until last month when I went to my local CVS and saw the Seche Vite base and top coat. I immediately purchased both and I have no regrets.
Seche Vite base protects my nails from yellowing, a common problem with nail polishes. The top coat protects my nails from chipping and makes my polish last longer. Most of all, I love how my polish dries within 10 minutes and is hard as a rock. I’ve used and was disappointed with nail hardeners, where it does dry but you still have to be careful not to get dents and scratches on your polish. I’m sure many of you already are using Seche Vite or have heard of it. If you haven’t, go and I try it. You won’t be disappointed.
This week I’m wearing “Under my trench coat” by OPI. It’s my favorite nail polish color since this summer. The color seems to shift depending on the light source. It may appear to be an olive-brown color with fine shimmers or a gray pebble-like color.
