I’ve been hooked to Youtube’s makeup gurus for the past few months. Until recently my makeup has been very basic. My eyeshadow routine usually consist of two colors the most. I didn’t even know about eyeshadow primers until recently. For those who are in the dark ages when it comes to makeup like I once was, a primer is applied on the eyelid to help make the eyeshadow last and the color more vibrant. Don’t even talk about blush application with me, because I usually ended up looking like a clown. Now I’ve learned about contouring my cheekbones, plush blush application. The right makeup brushes do make a big difference. Watching the videos have really improved my technique, but at the same time burned a hole in my pocket.  I’ve seen a lot of makeup gurus, but its the personality that captures my attention first, next their talent. Below are the top 10 makeup gurus I love to watch, and one favorite video from each of them.

She was one of the first Youtube makeup guru I watched.  My friend Gem introduced me to her videos and I was hooked right away.  She has such a friendly, and positive attitude that just captured my attention right away.  She’s also very pretty, and has so much talent.  Even Mark likes watching her.
