Mac Haul #2

I’m trying to practice self control when it comes to shopping.  I’m proud of myself.  I didn’t buy too much from MAC last week. Just got a couple of nail polishes, lip conditioner, and blush.  Then stopped by CVS on the way home and picked up a few brushes and lipsticks.

I wasn’t impressed with the nail polishes.  They do dry quickly. Less than 2 minutes and your good to go.  However  the color isn’t rich enough.  After two coats, I could still see my natural nail color.  I guess with these nail polishes you need 3 coats to truly see the real color.

Personal Style Blush

I love this blush.  Finally a subtle brown I can use on my face.  Blush tends to look red on my skin, and this shade is light enough that it looks subtle and natural.

I love the colors!  The red goes with almost skin tone, great if you’re going for the pin-up girl look.  The lipstick color stays on for hours.  It doesn’t feel as dry on my lips compared to the MAC Pro longwear.  CVS sell them for $10.99.

Essence of Beauty Deluxe Duo Set

I primarily bought it for the smaller angled brush.  The angled brush I got from Sephora was too big for my face, and therefore applys too much color.  I like this because the smaller size allows more control in applying my blush or for contouring my cheek bones.  The brush are made of autentic hair and fibers, and it feels soft.  It’s only $14.99 at CVS and you get 6 brushes in total.  Definitely worth the money.  I also bought a crease brush duo for $5.49 for my eyeshadows.
