I went for a follow up visit to my Dermatologist today. The good news is my acne is improving. She took before and after pics, so YAY! However, it’s not improving fast enough. She suggested Accutane. She already gave an intro about Accutane the last visit, and today she gave me a booklet so I can think about it. I’m still hesitant because it’s a heavy duty acne medication. Accutane requires you to sign a contract and log in monthly to make sure you understand the risks. So for now, I’ll think about it.
Mark and I drove home and couldn’t find parking near the house. I figured I might as well go shopping and come back later in the afternoon when there’s more parking spots available. Went to Cross County Mall. Finally a mall close to the Bronx. It’s pretty small but it has Forever 21, H&M, VS, Express, Bebe, AX, and a bunch of other stores. I didn’t go crazy because I’m on a budget. From Forever 21, I got the boots that I’ve been obsessing over online, a studded shoulder bag, and a necklace.

I saw the boots online, but I was at first skeptical on buying it. First of all it’s from Forever 21, and it’s only $30.80. When it comes to footwear I put comfort first, because whats the point of buying pretty shoes when I can’t even walk in them for 10 minutes. The boots are 3″ tall, and has chunky heels. It was very comfortable when I first tried it on. I especially love the multiples buckles, but I’m loving the price the most. Very impressed with Forever 21. I’ve also been obsessed with shoulder bags, primarily because of the freedom it offers and the comfort. It was love at first with Michael Kor’s Crossbody bag, but I refuse to spend that much money on one small item. I especially like using a shoulder bag when I’m carrying my camera with me. However the bag I got today will not fit my Canon xsi, but I still like it.
From Victoria’s Secret I got 2 lipsticks, and 3 lip glosses, and 2 eye sticks to use as a creamy base for my eyeshadow.

The lipsticks are so sheer. They look dark and scary at first, but looks light and sheer once you apply it on your lips.

I needed stock up on my lip glosses. One of my all time favorite lip gloss is Victoria’s Secret Baby Doll. I really like VS lip glosses. I find them very smooth, and applies easily. I also love how their lip glosses don’t feel thick and sticky in your lips. They have changed the packaging of the lip glosses in the past couple of years, and what I’ve noticed is that the lip glosses come a little more sheer now. I’ve noticed it the most with Baby Doll.
